The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and Boz Scaggs appeared on July 24, 1976 drawing 37,000 peaceful fans. My Saturday job paid 3 but I was about to get a better one at Boots that paid 5. It was a great concert! I can understand why casual fans would have been a bit frustrated by this, but those who stayed would have been treated to a fantastic performance with plenty of hits to follow culminating in a rousing rendition of Saturday Nights alright for Fighting. Amazing day. The Eagles flew on and promptly made the full house soar.. Keys made a guest appearance on "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Brown Sugar" at the Los Angeles shows. Im sure that others who were there would endorse this! But the day belonged to one band: the Beach Boys who transformed the London stadium into sunny California and had us singing along to endless hit after hit.
